When I woke up this morning in
Truckee,
the local news stations were showing trucks creaping their way over Donner Pass through falling snow from yesterday It was 41 degrees as I left so I was worried |
|
However, the road was clear, not even any snow on the ground on either side. My bike thermometer reported 46 at that point |
|
Of course, I was all bundled up for the cold. This makes it impossible to get the camera out and my warm gloves make my dexterity insufficient to operate the on/off button or shutter |
|
So, during the most beautiful part of the ride, no photos And, from Sacramento to home is not so photogenic |
|
Along the way traffic was very light In fact, the whole day was perfect as far as traffic density |
| I got home about 2:30 very tired and glad it was done |
